On the cruise, they both got drunk, fell into a lifeboat, and separated from the ship, eventually stranded on an island together. They both fall in love during their course of togetherness on the island. After getting rescued, Rohit's story is a little tense as Sonia's father doesn't approve of their marriage due to class differences. To prove him wrong, Rohit works harder to be day he encounters a crime committed by a corrupt officer and Sonia's father's friend, Shakti Malik. They killed Rohit before anyone knew about their crime. Rohit's family and friends, including Sonia, get depressed after hearing about Rohit's overcome depression, Sonia was sent to New Zealand to stay with her brother. She met Raj Chopra, the son of a billionaire NRI businessman, who strikingly resembles Rohit. After hearing Sonia's story, he accompanies her to the airport, but he knows she doesn't love him even though he looks exactly like Rohit. At the airport, Raj gets armed by officers. Sonia and Raj manage to escape safely. They then realize that Rohit was murdered and decides to plot revenge and justice for Rohit and take all the culprits out of their Naa… Pyaar Hai Cast Performance Hrithik Roshan, with his debut, performed a very great and versatile act. He presented two different characters and showed that he was a professional actor. Ameesha Patel, with her debut film, became a proficient actress. At the start of the movie he is lovable as any Bollywood actor can be as a struggling singer. Amisha is just the cute looker needed to make Hrithik look like a great lover. Of course, Amisha has done her job well, which is basically to look cute. The second entry of Hrithik makes him look real dashing and we get to see 2 avataars of Hrithik in one movie. There is no comment about how this is possible in the film. Rakesh Roshan had used the second avataar formula for double roles in Karan Arjun where he had made a weird unacceptable explaination...
